Student on-hold

The student on-hold functionality has been changed so that you can specify a period of time that the student is on-hold for. When a student is on hold:

  • The student’s lessons are visable in educators’ timetables.

  • The student’s lessons are displayed in italics when view on the student timetable

  • On-hold days are displayed on student timetables

  • Running records and checkins are not required whilst on-hold

On the student profile

The on-hold checkbox has been replaced with an onhold field:

Click the “Add” button to change the student to on-hold. This will display the following:

  1. Enter the date from which the student is on hold. This is required.

  2. Enter the last date of the student’s on-hold status. If this is not set, the student will remain on-hold until a date is subsequently entered here.

  3. Click this button to save.

Once saved, the following is displayed:

  1. The current status shows as on hold. If the start date is later than today or the end date is set, the status will be displayed differently:

  2. Click here to expand the details of current and past on hold periods as shown below. Note that the current period is shaded blue:

  3. The add button is disabled whist there is a current on hold period
